Match Report Press Report

Away Unranked Player 1 Clive Ewins
Chichester 1 Beat West Hants 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 12 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Simon Randell winning through.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 95 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Matthew Theodoris.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Andy Corben, who over-turned a 189 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Away No. 1 player, Unranked 1, had not had to withdraw after 1 game(s) the result could have been closer.
